- The question
- How did you decide whether to go for a 2-year foundation degree course, or a 3-year honours degree course?
- James - 2nd year student
- Coming straight from A-Levels, my original plan was to have a gap year and then Trinity came about, and it was just more appealing to me, because it was a foundation degree. So I wasn't stuck in a full 3 years with nothing to do so it was really good just having the option of 2 years to do - when it wasn't exactly what I definitely wanted to do at that time.
- Sarah - 1st year student
- With the 2-year course, you have the option of leaving after 2 years and you still get a qualification. If you wanted to leave after 2 years with the BA (Hons) course, you're not leaving with a qualification. But you're still definitely leaving with a qualification here [with the foundation course].
- Lisa - 1st year student
- Originally I thought the 2 years would be a good idea because it would get me going, get my foot in the door and then later if I wanted to do the 3 years and get my full BA, then I would go for that.
