- When I first went to the audition, I only saw the other applicants in the group piece together. And then for the solos you could kind of hear them through the doors singing but that wasn't too off-putting - good to see what the competition was like.

- We never saw each others' pieces when it was individual they kept us kind of separate for that. We could hear through the door, like we were having a sneaky listen but we never got to see it.

- We did get to hear other people singing solo which had good and bad sides. In some ways, it made you more nervous, because you picked up on their nerves but in other ways it was nice, because you all felt like a team really so it was less competitive in that way.
